Dayout.io is a service that helps audiences connect with festivals and special events. We open a channel for communication between attendees and organizers, allowing them to share information, updates, and interact with each other.

To get gifts on Dayout.io:

1. Login with your Dayout.io account
2. Visit the Gifts page.
3. Read the gift descriptions. Many gifts will have an activity for you to complete. Follow the instructions to complete the activity such as filling a survey or checking-in to an event.
4. Once you've completed an activity, the gift will be updated on the Gifts page and you'll see a suggestion on how to claim your gift. For example, if the gift is a discount code, the button “Get Code” will let you see your discount code
5. Enjoy your gift!

Remember to check the Gifts page regularly for new offers, as the available gifts may change over time.

Some events may have a Check-in option associated with a gift. If a gift requires a Check-in activity to be completed, you'll see a Check-in button on that gift. Click on the Check-in button to either Check-in or perform any additional activities needed to earn the gift.

Dayout.io lets you create your own custom festival Calendar and share it with others:

1. Login with your Dayout.io account
2. Visit the Calendar page
3. Scroll down the list of events
4. Click on the Event you'd like to add
5. Select a time and date if there are multiple Performances
6. Click Add to Calendar

New items added to your Calendar will be displayed under the Your Calendar section.

Dayout.io is a special type of website known as a PWA. A PWA, short for Progressive Web App, means you can download and install Dayout.io on your Android, iOS device or on your computer OR you can enjoy Dayout.io as a website in a browser.

To install on an Apple iOS device:

1. Navigate to the site in Safari
2. Click the “Share” button
3. Select “Add to Home Screen” from the popup
4. Click “Add”

The app will appear on the home screen, Spotlight's search, Siri Suggestions, and App Library search.

To install on an Android device:

1. Navigate to the Homepage Chrome
2. Click the “Download the free App Install” Button
3. When prompted on the Install app screen, select Install
4. Navigate to the installed application on your device

To Install on Desktop:

Desktop PWA installation is supported in Chrome and Edge on many different desktop platforms, including Linux, Windows, macOS and Chromebook.

1. Navigate to the Homepage in Chrome or Edge
2. Click the Install Badge in the URL bar
3. Click Install in the “Install App?” dialog box

The Dayout.io application will appear in the Start screen on Windows, the dock or desktop in Linux, in the macOS launchpad or in Chromebooks app launcher. Additionally, the Dayout.io app will appear in app searches such as Spotlight on macOS

By creating an account, you can create and manage your event calendar, earn gifts by completing activities, and enjoy a personalized event experience.
